FUTURES MARKET MAY BE SET UP BEFORE 15% SALE OF RTS EXCHANGE
MOSCOW. June 2 (Interfax) - The RTS could set up a futures market section before the sale of a 15% stake in the RTS Stock Exchange, an RTS official told Interfax. The RTS board, following requests from potential shareholders, on Tuesday decided to consider the setting up of a futures section on the RTS Stock Exchange. The board was satisfied with the interim results of the 13 bids received for 15% of shares. Some potential investors made requests, including on the establishment of a futures market because they are active players on this market and this would make the RTS shares more appealing, the official said.
