Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov has left for Sochi to meet his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, Asia-Plus
reported on 4 June.
Foreign Minister Talbak Nazarov, Finance Minister Safarali Najmuddinov, Energy Minister Jurabek Nurmuhammadov, the
head of the Border Protection Committee, Abdurahmon Azimov; the chief of the armed forces' staff, Ramil Nodirov;
and the president's state adviser on foreign policy, Erkin Rahmatulloyev; are accompanying him, the agency
said.
It said Putin and Rahmonov were expected to discuss a wide range of issues on Russian-Tajik relations, including the
fate of the Russian border guards in Tajikistan.
