Mashinostroitelnye Zavody, formerly United Heavy Machinery - who has been appointed as Georgian economics minister,
plans to transfer his stake in the company to a trustee manager.
"I plan to transfer my shares to trustee management, but I have not yet decided to whom," he said at a
press conference.
He also said that he has signed a request to members of the OMZ
board of directors to relieve him of his duties as chairman. "I
Bendukidze confirmed his plans to sell his stake within three years. "I would like to receive the maximum amount
of money for this packet of securities," he said.
