Russia - Svyazinvest operators` sales up 28.6% in 1st-qtr
Svyazinvest telecoms operators had a revenue up 28.6% to Rouble56.09 bil in 1st-qtr 2004 vs Rouble43.6 bil in the year-earlier period, according to the Russian Telecoms Ministry. Revenue from core activities rose by 30.75% to Rouble52.67 bil vs Rouble40.31 bil. Consumer services revenue was up by 27.5% to Rouble23.63 bil vs Ruble18.54 bil. Investment grew by 92.9% to Rouble9.51 bil over the same period.
