03 June 2004 07:30 INDIAN EXPORT FEDERATION TO HOLD TRADE EXHIBITIONS IN RUSSIA NEW DELHI, June 3 Asia Pulse - Aiming to boost trade relations, the Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO)
is organising a series of events in CIS countries including Russia.
"Indo-Russia trade was of the tune of US$1,296 million in 2002-03, which has the potential to further grow at
much higher level," FIEO director general G Balachandran said in a statement.
FIEO will showcase products including textiles & apparel, leather products, processed food products, machinery
& equipment, automobile components, IT & telecom, chemicals, plastic products, and automobiles, he said.
The exhibitions would be held in St Petersburg and Moscow in September 2004 and the Ministry of Commerce would
subsidise the events to encourage exporter to participate in large numbers.
