01 June 2004 05:52 Megafon to appoint new commercial director MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax) - First deputy commercial director of Sonic Duo, which operates the Megafon mobile phone
network in Moscow region, Sergei Beshev, is expected to take over as commercial director on June 15, Roman Prokolov, an
advisor to Sonic Duo's general director, told Interfax.
Sonic Duo's current commercial director Eldar Razroev will become president of Evroset, which owns a chain of
mobile phone stores in 96 cities, on June 15.
Beshev is currently the only candidate for the commercial director post.
Sonic Duo is a wholly owned Megafon subsidiary. Megafon's main shareholders are Telecominvest, CT-Mobile, Sonera
(Finland) and Telia (Sweden). The company has over 8.5 million subscribers in Russia's regions, including over 1
