Transneft chief tips world oil prices to stay high
MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax) - The head of Russia's state-owned pipeline monopoly Transneft thinks world oil prices will stay high in the immediate term. "Oil prices will not fall in the immediate future, they might even grow to some extent," Semyon Vainshtok told reporters in Moscow. Transneft's tariffs do not depend on world oil prices, Vainshtok said. "Transneft has the world's lowest tariffs," he said. The private Caspian Pipeline Consortium and oil producer Lukoil charge considerably more than Transneft to pump oil, Vainsthok said. Transneft charges $0.36 a tonne of crude, Lukoil $6 and the CPC four or five times more than Transneft, Vainshtok said. [RU ASIA EUROPE EEU EMRG CRU OIL ENR RESF CORA RES] pr
