In Russia, the water division of French environmental services group Veolia Environnement (VE) has signed a contract
with Saint Petersburg's water utility, Vodokanal, for the construction of a plant to remove silt from the
city's water supply within the city's sewage treatment plant.
The cost of the plant will be 52m euros.
