Four more power companies to restructure
MOSCOW. May 31 (Interfax) - The shareholders of Kostromaenergo, Yarenergo, Tverenergo and Vladimirenergo have decided to restructure the power companies as part of electricity industry reforms, Margarita Nagoga, a spokeswoman for Unified Energy System, told Interfax. All the companies will be reorganized in accordance with the basic system for reforming energy systems, which envisages splitting up types of business (generation, grid, sales). All the new companies will remain joint stock companies. Similar decisions were made by Invenergo on May 28 and Tambovenergo on May 30. So far 16 UES power companies have supported reorganization.
