Yuganskneftegaz boosts revenue 44% in Q1
MOSCOW. May 31 (Interfax) - Yuganskneftegaz, Yukos' core production company, boosted revenue 44% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2004, to 24.38 billion rubles, the company said in its report to Russian accounting standards. Gross profit grew to 8.27 billion rubles from 68 million rubles, sales profit surged to 7.66 billion rubles from 322 million rubles, pretax profit rose to 5.68 billion from 802 million, and net profit soared to 4.27 billion from 804 million. Production costs dropped 4.2% to 16.11 billion rubles. Yuganskneftegaz produced 12.65 million tonnes of oil in the first quarter of 2004, up 5.1% year-on-year.
