Belarus posts 4-mth budget surplus of 0.1%
MOSCOW. May 31 (Interfax) - Belarus had a state budget surplus of 11.2 billion Belarussian rubles or 0.1% of GDP in January-April, the Finance Ministry told Interfax. State budget revenues were 4.076 trillion Belarussian rubles or 30.8% of the year's target and spending was 4.065 trillion rubles or 29.2% of the year's target. The surplus was 0.3% of revenues. The maximum permissible budget deficit this year was raised to 925.4 billion Belarussian rubles or 2% of GDP in line with a Consolidated budget revenues were 6.4 trillion Belarussian rubles or 33.6% of the year's target and consolidated expenditures 6.1 trillion rubles or 31%.
