VLADIKAVKAZ/YESSENTUKI. May 29 (Interfax) - The North Ossetian prosecutor's office has opened a criminal case on
terrorism in connection with an explosion under a passenger train near Vladilavkaz on Saturday morning, the North
Caucasus division of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office told Interfax on Saturday.

A source with the North Ossetian prosecutor's office told Interfax that the criminal case was launched by acting
North Ossetian Prosecutor Alexander Panov. A joint team of officials from the prosecutor's office and the North
Ossetian department of the Federal Security Service (FSB) are working at the scene.
Meanwhile, a source with the North Ossetian Interior Ministry told Interfax that another explosive device, which was
not activated, was found not far from the explosion scene. The bomb has been neutralized.
"The second bomb was found near a high-tension power transmission line tower, not far from the first bomb, which
was planted on the track and which went off under the train," the source said.
The fragments of the first explosive device have been collected and will be subjected to an expert examination, he
said.
The train cars are being examined to make sure that no more bombs were planted.
The stretch of the railroad near Vladikavkaz has been blocked. The passengers from another train en route from Adler
to Vladikavkaz have been asked to get off and will be delivered to the destination point by buses. [RU EUROPE ASIA EEU
