MOSCOW. May 28 (Interfax) - Vneshtorgbank (VTB) plans to buy a controlling stake in one of Georgia's largest
banks.
industrialists and businessmen led by Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref. VTB First Deputy President
and CEO Vadim Levin also took part in the meeting, says a VTB press release.
Saakashvili supports VTB's plans, which envision significant expansion of its activity in Georgia's banking
services market, the press release says.
The purchasing of a controlling stake in a Georgian bank lies within VTB's strategy of expanding its network in
