MICEX to merge UTS, electronic trading from May 31 (Part 2)
(MICEX) plans to merge its Unified Trading Session (UTS) and SELT electronic lot trading session from May 31 in a bid to boost the MOSCOW. May 28 (Interfax) - The Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange liquidity of trading. Today trading will take place from 10:00 a.m., Moscow time, to 2:00 p.m., on the MICEX and to 11:00 a.m. on regional currency trading The move is also designed to increase trading system reliability, merging the advantages of collective and individual risk management systems, MICEX said in a press release Friday. The new system will be based on the principles of the UTS, giving all dealers access to a liquid currency market, in which ruble/dollar floors.
