Court overturns ruling on Russian steel makers
MOSCOW. May 27 (Interfax) - The Moscow Arbitration Court on Thursday overturned a ruling by the Anti-Monopoly Ministry that accused two steel companies of breaking competition laws. The ministry passed a verdict on Severstal and the Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works on January 14 after Russian natural gas monopoly Gazprom, pipe companies, the Transneft oil transportation company and members of parliament complained that the two companies were unjustifiably raising their prices for steel used to make pipes. Severstal then filed a suit against the ministry, seeking the abrogation of the ruling. [RU EUROPE EEU EMRG LAW STL ELG ENR] as tj
