Politics & Law: Russian Former PM to Attend Int`l Workshop in Vietnam
Former Prime Minister of Russia Dr. Egor Gaydar will be present at an international workshop on policies for reformed economics due to take place in Hanoi from May 31 to June 1. Other participants will be the former Deputy PM of Poland Dr. G.Kolodko, the Chief Economist of European Restructuring and Development Bank, Dr. Willem Buiter, the Chinese negotiator to the World Trade Organization, Long Yongtu, and the Cambodian Minister of Trade, Sok Siphama. Policymakers and senior state officials from other countries of Laos, North Korea, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and the host will also attend the meeting. The workshop will be organized by the United Nations for Development Fund (UNDP), Vietnam Institute of Social Science, William Davidson Institute, London Economic School and Stockholm Economic School.
