Putin instructs govt. to curb inflation to within 3%
MOSCOW. May 26 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the government to curb early inflation to within 3% and set up all essential preconditions to make the ruble fully convertible in two years. "The policy of consistently reducing inflation must be continued, and I believe the government is capable of reaching the target of 3% a year," Putin said in his annual address to the Federal Assembly in Moscow on Wednesday.
