URALSVYAZINFORM TO PRESENT IAS REPORT IN JUNE
YEKATERINBURG. May 25 (Interfax) - Russian regional telecommunications concern OAO Uralsvyazinform plans to present its financial report for 2003 to International Accounting standards at the end of June 2004. "We expect to receive the report to IAS after June 20 and to present it at the next annual shareholders meeting, planned for June 25," company Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance Sergei Kuzyaev said. The company's report is being audited to IAS by Ernst & Young Vneshaudit. The company's press service said that management will hold a conference with financial analysts and investors during the presentation of the results. Details of the conference will be announced later. OAO Uralsvyazinform was set up during the reorganization of Svyazinvest, as a result of the merging of telecoms operators from Perm, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Kurgan regions and Khanty-Mansiisk and Yamalo-Nenets autonomous districts. As of April 1,2004 Svyazinvest owned 41.4% of shares in the charter capital of Uralsvyazinform (51.4% of common shares), private investors - 8.3% (5.8%), company management - 6% (5.4%), the Russian Federal Property Fund - 4.7% (5.8%), and institutional investors - 28.1% (20%), with 11.5% (11.6%) of shares converted into ADR.
