Bashkirenergo to pay 0.3-ruble common, 0.75-ruble preferred dividends
UFA. May 25 (Interfax) - The stockholders in power company Bashkirenergo voted at their annual meeting Tuesday to pay dividends for 2003 of 0.75 rubles per preferred type-A share and 0.3 rubles per common share, company press secretary Vyacheslav Abramenko told Interfax. Dividends for 2002 were the same for the preferred stock and 0.25 rubles per share of common stock. All told, the company will put 350.35 million rubles toward dividend payments. The remaining net profit money for 2003 will go into its accumulation fund. The company turned 402.8 million rubles in net profits in 2003. Bashkirenergo's charter capital is 1,092,728,485 rubles split into 50,060,997 preferred type-A and 1,042,667,488 common shares with par value of one ruble.
