25 May 2004 11:23 Social democrats regret Gorbachev`s resignation as party leader MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - The political council of the Social- Democratic Party of Russia (SDPR) expressed regret
on Tuesday over ex- Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev's resignation from the post of the party's leader,
which he announced at a party plenary session on Saturday.
