EvrazHolding confirms bid for Hanbo Steel
MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - EvrazHolding, Russia's biggest steel company, confirmed it would bid at an auction for South Korea's Hanbo Iron & Steel, which went bankrupt in 1997. EvrazHolding told Interfax that it had already submitted its bid. It is thought the auction results will be announced on June 4. Analysts think Hanbo might fetch $350 million-$400 million.
