Slavneft to pay 4.77 rubles per share for 2003
MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - The board of directors of Russian oil company Slavneft recommended at a meeting on Tuesday to spend 8.3199 billion rubles of net profit, which amounted to 8.3249 billion ruble, on dividend payments for 2003, company PR Director Ilya Medvedyev told Interfax. Dividends will amount to 1.75 rubles per share, with a par value of 0.1 kopecks. The company will use the remaining net profit, amounting to 4.98 million rubles, to replenish equity capital. As a result, including interim dividends for the first half and nine months of last year, total dividends for the year will amount to 4.77 rubles per share. Slavneft paid 10.65 billion rubles or 2.24 rubles per share in dividends for the first half of 2003. In the first nine months of 2003 Slavneft paid 3.71 billion rubles in dividends or 0.78 rubles per share. The main Slavneft shareholders are Sibneft and Tyumen Oil Company, with 98.5% of shares. Slavneft dividends in 2001 amounted to 17 kopecks per share and the company did not pay dividends in 2002. [RU EUROPE ASIA EEU EMRG ENR CRU OIL DIV] rd
