Gazprom board recommends dividends of 69 kopecks a share (Part 3)
MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - Gazprom's board of directors recommended dividends of 69 kopecks per share for 2003, the Russian gas giant said. Gazprom paid 9.36 billion rubles or 17.5% of its net profits in dividends for 2002 at 40 kopecks per share. Gazprom has a total of 23,673,512,900 shares with par value 5 rubles each. The board also approved a proposal to start this year's AGM at 10.00 a.m. local time at its head office, and it approved the agenda for the meeting. The board gave its preliminary approval to the 2003 book-keeping report prepared in accordance with Russian law. It approved proposals on remuneration for members of the board of directors and audit commission and decided to ask shareholders to name PricewaterhouseCoopers as external auditor.
