BUSINESS LIFE:COMMERCIAL PROPERTY:Blueprint is launched
KNIGHT Frank has launched its blueprint for mixed-use development entitled, 'Mixed-Use, Art or Science?' which sets out the Knight Frank view on how to deliver a mixed-use scheme to the market. The report has been issued as Knight Frank Birmingham reveal their increasing involvement in providing strategic and real time knowledge of mixed use schemes to a number of clients living and working in emerging Eastern European towns and cities such as Prague and Moscow. Mixed-use is the latest sector to shape and influence the property industry and this research has been written by Knight Frank's mixed-use research team to look at the emergence and future trends of this rapidly evolving sector. Mark Swallow, head of Knight Frank in Birmingham and head of the commercial team, said: "The culture of merging traditionally separate skills to deal with mixed use schemes adopted by many property agents must continue to evolve to ensure continued success, not only here in Birmingham but the UK and Europe too. The Knight Frank blueprint outlines how best to do this. "We are on the world stage and overseas companies have witnessed the success of many mixed use schemes here in the region including Brindleyplace and The Mailbox developments and recognise the ability and knowledge of all those involved. "We have experienced a growing number of approaches for advice from our European property counterparts and have already introduced several prospective investors from the region to European schemes."
