BERIEV BOARD RECOMMENDS DIVIDENDS OF 11.17 RUBLES
ROSTOV-ON-DON. May 24 (Interfax) - The board of directors of AO Taganrog Beriev Aviation Scientific-Technical Complex recommended to shareholders at the end of last week to approve dividends for 2003 of 11.17 rubles per common share with a par value of 500 rubles, a source in the company told Interfax. In total the board recommended to pay out 2.645 million rubles in dividends, or 10% of net profit in 2003. The company did not pay dividends in 2002 and profit was used to develop the company. The company's annual shareholders' meeting is set for June 29. The company's charter capital amounts to 118.405 million rubles, split into 236,810 common shares with a par value of 500 rubles. The The board also confirmed an agenda for the meeting. Shareholders will confirm the annual report, the accounts - including profit and loss accounts and also distribution of profit, in addition to electing the board of directors. The board earlier confirmed nominees for the new board of directors. There are 12 candidates for the nine seats on the board - six each from the main shareholders AO Irkut Scientific-Production Corporation (39.5%) and GUP AVPK Sukhoi (38%). The list of shareholders eligible to participate in the meeting was taken from the register on May 15, 2004. financial agency Milkom-invest is the nominal holder of 12.2% of the company's shares.
