Russian power grid chief arrives in Azerbaijan for cooperation
The head of Unified Energy System of Russia, Anatoliy Chubays, arrived in Baku today. At the Heydar Aliyev airport of
Baku, he told journalists that the main goal of his visit is the implementation of regional projects through bilateral
cooperation.
As for Unified Systems of Russia's plans to privatize Azerbaijani facilities, Chubays said, the issue is not
about privatization of any facility, but if need be, this step could be taken to implement regional projects.
