Sayano-Shushenskaya GES to pay dividends
meeting to pay 2003 dividends of 0.016 rubles per common and 0.0195 rubles per preferred share, deputy board of directors chairman SAYANOGORSK. May 21 (Interfax) - The stockholders in Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydropower Station (Sayano-Shushenskaya GES) voted at their annual Vyacheslav Sinyugin announced at a press conference. Company net profits came to 98.8 million rubles in 2003, sales revenue to 1.401 billion rubles and pretax profits to 473.13 million rubles. Sinyugin reported that 33% of the year's net profits will go to paying dividends, the rest to an accrual fund. Sayano-Shushenskaya GES paid no dividends for 2002 due to net losses of 218 million rubles. The company's charter capital is 2,028,620,000 rubles split into 1.936 billion common and 92.620 preferred shares with par value of one ruble. Unified Energy System of Russia (UES) owns almost 80% of the GES, while the remaining stock circulates on the stock market. [RU EUROPE EEU ASIA EMRG ENR ELG CORA DIV RES] cf
