Russian monetary base expands by 9 bln rubles to 1505.5 bln rubles
MOSCOW. May 21 (Interfax) - The narrow monetary base in Russia stood at 1505.5 billion rubles on May 17, up from 1496.5 billion rubles on May 11, the Central Bank reported on Friday. The narrow monetary base includes cash in circulation (including cash held at credit institutions), and balances on banks' required local-currency-deposit reserve accounts with the Central Bank.
