Anti-terrorist coalition hasn`t produced desired result - FSB chief
SOCHI. May 20 (Interfax) - Director of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Nikolai Patrushev said that "it must be admitted today that the activities of the anti-terrorist coalition have not produced the desired result yet." Speaking at the third international conference of the chiefs of special services and law enforcement agencies in Sochi on Thursday, Patrushev said, "Terrorist organizations, primarily al-Qaeda, still pose a significant threat to many countries," Patrushev said. "The potential of extremism has still not been fully eradicated. Secret terrorist organizations continue to exist, and they are still being armed and financed," he said.
