Protocol with EU leaves protection of Russian farming in place
Moscow, 21 May: Russia will keep its current level of protection of its agriculture sector, Russia's Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref told reporters on Friday [21 May] following the signing of a Russia-EU protocol on Russia's entry to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Russia would even be allowed to increase import duties on some agricultural goods, he said.
