Fradkov authorizes oil export duty hike from June 1 (Part 2)
MOSCOW. May 19 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov signed a government resolution authorizing an increase in the export duty for crude oil and oil products obtained from bituminous rock from $35.1 to $41.6 a tonne from June 1. A government spokesman said Fradkov signed the resolution on May 17. The export duty also goes up, from $31.7 to $37.5 a tonne, for light and medium distillates, gasoils, liquid fuel, propane and butane, but a month after the government resolution's offocial publication.
