19 May 2004 13:14 Russian Duma appoints two new Central Bank directors Moscow, 19 May: The State Duma today appointed Dmitriy Tulin and Aleksey Ulyukayev members of the board of directors
of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. The nominations were submitted to the lower house by Central Bank
Chairman Sergey Ignatyev after they were agreed with the Russian president.
Aleksey Ulyukayev and Dmitriy Tulin are respectively a first deputy and a deputy chairman of the Central Bank of the
Russian Federation.
At the same time the lower house released First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Oleg
Vyugin from the post of member of the board of directors before the end of his term in view of his appointment to the
post of head of the Federal Service for Financial Markets.
The board of directors of the country's main bank comprises the chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian
Federation and 12 members.
