19 May 2004 09:33 Trans-Siberian Gold - Drilling Report RNS Number:8323Y Trans-Siberian Gold PLC 19 May 2004 Trans-Siberian Gold plc Continuing good results from further
drilling at Veduga LONDON: 19 May, 2004 - Trans-Siberian Gold plc ("Trans-Siberian") (TSG.L) reports that the
preliminary results from its winter drilling programme at the Veduga gold project in central Siberia is continuing to
increase the resource base both qualitatively and quantitatively. There are 13 separate ore-bodies in the main Veduga
licence area which have a combined resource of 2.3 million ounces, calculated to western JORC standards, as of January
2004. Drilling within this area has intercepted sections of high-grade gold mineralization which show that several of
the ore-bodies are richer, deeper and more extensive than previously established. One hole intersected a 22.6 metre
section containing 26.82 grams/tonne of gold. A total of 52 holes have been drilled across the licence area. Assay
results are still awaited from several of these, but already it is clear that TSG will add significantly to the total
resource at Veduga once all results are to hand and collated. TSG has also been conducting some exploratory drilling in
areas surrounding the main Veduga project area with encouraging results. Further drilling and interpretation is needed
before the Company can say with confidence that it has discovered other potentially economic resources, although
significant gold mineralization has been discovered in two of the four target areas drilled. Significant exploration
activity, including further drilling, is planned for the greater licence area in this coming summer season. The full
results to date of the drilling programme in the Veduga license area are contained in the following technical report.

zones. Western Zone - Ore Bodies 9, 9a and 10 A total of 8 holes were planned for the Western Zone of the Mining
License, all drilling in this area has been completed. Two holes are still awaiting results. Western Zone True Internal

DDH332 Results awaited The Western Zone is the most eroded portion of the Veduga deposit and a series of faults step the
deposit gradually deeper to the east. Drilling has confirmed that much of the Western Zone comprises thin mineralised
zones but the eastern portion of OB9 thickens and carries higher grades. Hole no. DDH329 has shown this zone is deeper
than previously thought and that OB9 persists to the 350m level, maintaining both width and a high grade with a section
of 22.6m @ 26.82g/t Au. Further drilling during the summer is expected to increase the resource in this area and it may
be possible to delineate hidden ore bodies or join the mineralization to the western extension of OB 11. Interim Zone -
OB11 A total of 12 diamond drill holes have been completed over the Interim Zone. Further drilling is ongoing and
results are still awaited from 7 holes. Results have been encouraging, though the ore zone has been found to split with
depth in the west. Results for the central zone are still awaited but it is hoped that the ore body will maintain its
integrity with depth and results from the eastern portion of OB11 show that the ore zone maintains its integrity but
narrows. Drilling has added to the resource in this area. Interim Prospect True Internal ID Ore From To Interval Grade

Results awaited * NB: data used in the January resource estimate Eastern Zone - OB2 to 6 plus 13 (OB1 Satellites) A
total of 16 holes have been completed in the Eastern Zone with results still pending for 4 of these. Prior to this
drilling programme the resource was reliant solely on the earlier Russian drilling, trenches and intersections in the
adit. The new drill results have revealed that the eastern ore zones are more complex than previously indicated. The
area is now shown to comprise up to 12 narrow, 1 to 7m wide (true width), mineralised lenses extending in an east-west
zone some 300m long and 150m wide to a known depth of 300m. Further drilling with the RC drill is planned along with a
new programme of trenching to better resolve the individual mineralised zones. Drilling has increased the resource in
this area. Eastern Zone True Internal ID Ore From To Interval Grade Width Waste Body m Au g/t m m DDH304 ? 6.7 8.6 1.9

Zone. The ore bodies are located in the least eroded portion of the Veduga deposit and drilling has revealed discrete
mineralised zones about 1m wide with gold grades of 1.07-15.5g /t. The ore mineralization can be considered indicative
for deeper levels and it is thought that the most probable depth for intersecting wider mineralised intervals is
300-400m below surface. South Eastern Zone True Internal ID Ore From To Interval Grade Width Waste Body m Au g/t m m
