Norilsk Nickel export revenue up 90%
MOSCOW. May 17 (Interfax) - Revenue from metal exports at OAO MMC Norilsk Nickel increased 90.21% to 129.3 billion rubles in 2003 from 67.97 billion rubles in 2002, according to a company report. Revenue from nonferrous metal exports increased 76.26% to 93.242 billion rubles in 2003, from 52.9 billion rubles in 2002. The report also states that in October 2003 Norilsk Nickel and the Russian State Reserves Agency signed a state contract for metal Revenue from exports of precious metals increased 139.21% to 36.05 billion rubles in 2003, up from 15.07 billion rubles a year earlier.
