Serbian Radical party candidate visits Russia to rekindle relations
[Presenter] Serbian Radical Party [SRS] presidential candidate Tomislav Nikolic is visiting Moscow as part of his campaign. Nikolic said that the aim of his visit is to find out why relations between Russia and our country have cooled. [Nikolic, voice over phone] The aim of my visit is to find out why relations with Russia have cooled and why Russia has politically withdrawn from its spheres of influence in the Balkans. I am also here to see if we can ensure support for a peaceful solution in Kosovo-Metohija, and to see if I, as an elected president, can help the Serbian government once again [corrects himself] to re-establish relations with Russia. We also had time to meet our host Aleksandr Fomenko, who is also a deputy in the Duma and a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. We are now taking part in a session of the Mercury Club, the Russian Chamber of Commerce, chaired by Yevgeniy Primakov. We have a meeting scheduled with him shortly after the session. That is the programme for today. Our schedule for tomorrow is also packed.
