Andrew Decibel Antennas Receive Certificates of Compliance from Russian Ministry of Communications
ORLAND PARK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2004--Andrew Corporation received four first-time certificates of compliance for a wide range of its Decibel(R) Omni, Panel, Dual Band, and Indoor Base Station Antennas. Over 33 antennas have been certified by the Ministry of Communication distribution in the Russian market in frequencies from 450 to 1990 MHz for GSM 900, GSM 1800, CDMA, and UMTS systems. Representatives from MTUCI (Moscow Technical University of Communications and Information) visited the Andrew manufacturing facility in Dallas, Texas USA to review quality assurance policies, tour the environmental testing laboratory and antenna testing range, and inspect each antenna under consideration for certification. The certificates verify that Decibel antennas have been approved for use in communications systems throughout the country.
