Russian monetary base expands by 7,8 bln rubles to 1500.3 bln rubles
MOSCOW. May 7 (Interfax) - The narrow monetary base in Russia stood at 1500.3 billion rubles on May 5, up from 1492.5 billion rubles on April 26, the Central Bank reported on Friday. The narrow monetary base includes cash in circulation (including cash held at credit institutions), and balances on banks' required local-currency-deposit reserve accounts with the Central Bank.
