April bond placements raise 7 bln rubles
MOSCOW. May 6 (Interfax) - Government ruble-denominated bond placements in April raised 7.1 billion rubles for the federal budget. Budget spending on ruble bonds totaled 4.16 billion rubles, with 1.67 billion spent on bond redemption and 2.49 billion rubles spent on coupon payments, putting net revenue at 2.95 billion rubles, the Finance Ministry reported. Ruble bond placements raised 67.35 billion in the first quarter of 2004 with net revenue of 34.56 billion rubles. Domestic debt increased 0.64% in April to 709.61 billion from 705.11 billion rubles.
