30 April 2004 21:50 Russian trade surplus increases to $18.8 bln in Q1 MOSCOW. April 30 (Interfax) - Russia's trade surplus increased to $18.8 billion in the first quarter of 2004
from $15.3 billion in the same period of last year, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry said in its
first-quarter review.
Exports were an estimated $37.5 billion, up 20.8% year-on-year, and imports grew 18.6% to $18.8 billion, the ministry
