Megafon has over 1 mln subscribers in Moscow
MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - The number of subscribers to ZAO Sonic Duo, the operator of the Megafon telecom network
in Moscow region, exceeded 1 million on Wednesday, the company said in a press release.
The main shareholders in OAO Megafon are OAO Telecominvest -
31.3%, OOO TsT-Mobile - 25.1%, TeliaSonera - 34.53% and IPOC
"Megafon crossed the one-million mark in Moscow region in only 2.5 years, while other mobile operators needed at
least five years to do this," the statement said.
