Business in Brief: EBC Changes Its Name
MOSCOW -- The European Business Club voted Tuesday to change its name to the Association of European Businesses in Russia. The new name "better reflects the serious nature of the organization's work," according to a statement. The name change is part of a new charter, which reorganizes the group's structure and presents an updated strategy. The charter reflects an expected increase in the group's activities with the expansion of the European Union. The AEB will have three management bodies answering to its general assembly of members -- a council of national representatives, the executive board and the CEO. The organization's strategy includes raising the visibility of the AEB .TX-..**********************************************
