Companies up combined profit 32% in Jan-Feb
MOSCOW. April 20 (Interfax) - Russia's large and mid-scale companies posted combined pretax profit of 292.25 billion rubles, or $10.3 billion, in January-February 2004, up 31.8% year-on-year in ruble equivalent, the Federal State Statistics Service reported Tuesday. Statistics show that 45,100 Russian companies posted profit of 346 billion rubles in January-February 2004, and 29,400 companies posted losses of 53.9 billion rubles.
