17 April 2004 12:48 BASIC ELEMENT TO HIRE FOREIGN CONTRACTORS FOR BOGUCHANSK KRASNOYARSK. April 16 (Interfax) - Basic Element is holding talks with foreign construction companies with the aim of
employing contractors for work at the Boguchansk hydropower station, the company's board chairman Oleg Deripaska,
said Friday.
"We are not looking for foreign investors for joint financing of the project. We now where to find the funds to
complete the construction of the station. But there is a problem with the quality of construction," he said.
