RusAl raises $800 mln from foreign banks
LONDON. April 13 (Interfax) - Russian Aluminum, Russia's biggest aluminum producer, has signed an agreement with 11 foreign banks on a pre-export syndicated loan totaling $800 million, a spokesman for BNP Paribas, which is organizing the loan with Citibank, told Interfax. The syndicate also includes ABN Amro, Barclays Capital, Commerzbank, HSBC, ING Group, KBC Bank, Natexis Banques Populaires, Standard Bank London and UFJ bAnk. The spokesman did not say what the terms of the loan would be or give any further details. RusAl confirmed the information but did not make any further comment.
