SMOLENSK. April 12 (Interfax-Center) - A system for radioactive waste disposal will be built at the Smolensk nuclear
power plant in 2007 under the TACIS project, the Smolensk nuclear power plant press service told Interfax after a
conference on the plant's future system on Monday.
Alexander Vasilyev said. He said they had developed technical requirements for the system and defined conditions of
an open tender for future suppliers of equipment.
"All documents necessary for the project's preliminary phase have been drafted in line with the TACIS
