09 April 2004 04:46 McKinsey representative appointed deputy head of Norilsk Nickel MOSCOW. April 9 (Interfax) - A representative of the Moscow office of McKinsey and Company Tav Morgan has accepted an
invitation to take the post of deputy general director - deputy chairman of the management board of MMC Norilsk Nickel.
He will take the post within a month, the company said in a press release.
Tav Morgan will be responsible for f production, technological development, and development of the raw materials
resource base, the fuel-and-energy complex, and capital construction of the company.
Tav Morgan was born on November 9, 1968. He graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Political Science and
International Relations, and from Oxford University with a Masters in Russian and East European Studies, concentrating
in Economics and Law.
>From 1993 to 1995 he was a consultant with Ernst & Young, International Financial Services in Kazakhstan and
Kyrgyzstan.
Since 1995 he has been partner and location manager with the Moscow office of McKinsey and Company. Over nine years
management consulting experience in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, South Africa and United States serving local and foreign
clients in the ferrous and non- ferrous metals, mining, industrial goods, electric power generation, airline, and
aerospace industries. Extensive experience in strategy development, merger and acquisitions, design and implementation
