He is in Belgrade as instructed by the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, and was there today to meet two Russian aircraft bringing in humanitarian aid for refugees from Kosovo. The minister noted that the delegation accompanying him includes representatives of the Russian parliament. The minister recalled the Russian Foreign Ministry initiatives aimed at convening the UN Security Council to discuss events in Kosovo.
