Vimpelcom invests about $700 mln in 2003
MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Vimpelcom, a major mobile phone provider, invested about $700 million in 2003, Jere Calmes, the vice president of Customers Operations and Product Management, said at a press conference Thursday. Spending on business support systems usually accounts for about 15%-20% of that amount, he said. The project is expected to pay for itself in three years, but this term may be shortened, Calmes said. Vimpelcom receives 90% of its Vimpelcom has implemented Amdocs ClarifyCRM, an integrated customer management solution, in Russia's central region and plans to extend this throughout its license area.
