Putin nominates Mikhail Fradkov as new prime minister of Russia
President Vladimir Putin has nominated Mikhail Fradkov, former head of the Federal Tax Police Service, as his candidate for the post of the prime minister of Russia, Russian news agencies reported on Monday. Prime Minister’s post was vacated on 24 February, when Putin relieved Mikhail Kasyanov of his duties.
