SUAL SIGNS DEAL WITH USAID
MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Siberian-Urals Aluminum Company (SUAL) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the
U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), envisaging partnership in aiding the social and economic development
of the regions where SUAL operates.
This is the first such partnership between USAID in Russia and a Russian company, said a joint press release.

Joint SUAL and USAID projects will be funded on a 50-50 basis, the memorandum says.
The SUAL group consists of 10 of the biggest aluminum companies in the world. It produces over 90% of Russia's
bauxite, 60% of the alumina and 25% of the primary aluminum. SUAL-Holding manages the companies.
